Autumn 2025: The Trends We're Eyeing (and Already Wearing)

We're not quite ready to say goodbye to summer spritzes and floaty dresses, but fashion waits for no one and autumn is already peeking round the corner in the best possible way. Think: power dressing, playful accessories, and just the right amount of drama. Here are the trends that have our full attention for AW25…

1. Bold Silhouettes & Corporate Core

Big shoulders are back (again), and they’ve brought friends: exaggerated sleeves, cinched waists and sculptural shapes that mean business. Picture a tailored blazer with a nipped-in waist and shoulder pads that whisper ‘Don’t mess’. It’s power dressing, but make it modern. We’re wearing ours over a slip skirt now and with a polo neck come October.

2. Grape Expectations

The colours of the season? A deep, juicy purple and all shades of brown. They're both rich, regal and surprisingly easy to wear. Whether you go all in with a statement coat or just dip a toe with a handbag or shoe, these are the sort of colours that look just as good with others as well as a complete tonal look. Bonus: they makes you look expensive. Even if you’re just heading to the Co-Op.

3. Textures with a Twist

Sheer layers, vintage lace, a dash of faux fur, the fabrics of AW25 are romantic but not fussy. We’re loving the idea of soft pieces layered under something sharper (see: trend #1). Think of it as tough girl meets Jane Austen. Very us.

4. The Accessories Are Having a Moment

Your accessories are about to do the heavy lifting. Wrists full of statement bangles? Yes please. Printed silk scarves tied around ponytails, bags or necks? Absolutely. The finishing touches this season are fun, a bit nostalgic, and guaranteed to make your outfit feel ‘done’ without trying too hard.

5. Boho, But Grown Up

Fringe is back, but it’s less festival and more “I’ve got a gallery opening at six.” Pair it with something tailored, like a clean-cut trouser or a classic knit, and you’ve nailed that slouchy-yet-chic thing we’re always chasing when it starts to get chilly.

Autumn 2025 is all about shape, texture and a bit of a wink. It’s strong shoulders and softer layers, bold colours and playful details. And as ever, it’s about wearing what makes you feel good, whether that’s a sculptural blazer, a faux fur stole, or your favourite scarf tied just-so.
